Is it Plumbing or Pay Per Click?

One of the biggest questions we get asked often is “How did you start your business?”

Looking back on the last 8 years, all I can say is that I honestly had no idea. I just did it. I didn’t have a plan, I didn’t know anything about building websites and if anybody would have told me back then what my business would be like today, I would have laughed.

You may have started your business the same way and if you’re just starting to explore the internet and web marketing solutions, you probably have similar questions regarding the terminology.

Html? What was that? PPC? Isn’t that the stuff they use to make pipes for plumbing? Oh wait, no, that’s PVC.

See what I mean?

The Internet wasn’t around when Sean and Matt were little boys and the opportunities available today were not around back then. Unlike most traditional businesses, I was not in a position to start one.

I’m sure they don’t remember, but I do, and to this day, I still feel like I missed out on so much when they were little.

I was not about to go through that again when Emily came along. So, I ditched the suits, hose and heels, rolled up my sleeves and started researching how to work from home.

There has been a lot of learning, personal and professional growth along the way, and that is something that is always happening. If you stop learning and evolving, you become stagnant.

Today? I am happy to say that my daughter has never seen the inside of a daycare center.

I get to walk her into her classroom every morning and I get to be the first one she sees when the bell rings at 3:20 in the afternoon.

I couldn’t ask for anything more and while it hasn’t always been easy, looking back over the last 7 years? I wouldn’t change a thing.

We’re here to help you sort through the jungle of jargon so that it makes sense.
